Entries in japanese gardens (4)

What a beautiful day we have for Nadeen and Gino's engagement session last week. It was the only day it did not rain. Thank goodness because Gino was coming in from out of town and we didn't have much wiggle room to move it.

We did their engagement session at the Buffalo History Museum and Japanese Gardens. We had to catch some of the cherry blossoms before it was too late. Luckily there was only one other photo shoot going on at the time. And it was one of our friendly photog friends. We both made sure we stayed out of each others way and we all got amazing images.

This is one of my favorites. Gino and Nadeen in their own world and surrounded by the cherry blossoms. And I love Nadeen's dress! It was perfect for this part of the shoot!

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe on this snowy Tuesday. If you have a snow day, enjoy it!

Here is one last image from Frank and Amanda's wedding I shot back in June. The wedding party! After taking some photos over at Delaware Park,we went across the street to the Buffalo Japanese Gardens for a few quick shots before the reception at the Foundry Suites.

Luck was still on our side at the Gardens. For a June wedding, we thought it would be crawling with other weddings. Not one in sight! Yay for us! Frank and Amanda wanted a nice and simple photo on the stairs. Perfect! We did a nice smile for the camera photo. Great for the wedding album!

Rise and grind! It's Monday and everyone is back to work. Ugh Mondays!

Anyway, this past week we had an engagement session with Nick and Jill. We have had to reschedule 2 times due to the weather. Our original location was to be at Knox Park State Farm. Well, day of once again, the weather was not cooperating out that way. It was beautiful here in Buffalo, so we asked them if they wanted to head to Delaware Park or reschedule again. They were on board and we were shooting!

We had to select a location that was dog friendly because they were bringing their pup Bentley (you will meet him tomorrow). As we were shooting around the park, Neal noticed the cherry blossoms across the way at the Japanese Gardens. Now, we have never been able to do a shoot when they were in bloom, so we were pumped to head over there and take advantage! Nick and Jill were super excited as well.

It was so pretty! I love the colors in this image. We had Nick and Jill stand right in the middle of the trees so it created a tunnel of color! They loved it!

The rain held off until we finished and all got into our cars. Thank God!

Stacy and Pete were married June of 2014. We did their engagament shoot in the fall of 2013 at Delaware Park and the Japanese Gardens in Buffalo. We then headed into Elmwood Village when it got dark out. It was a great shoot!

This was done at the Japanese Gardens. It is a very popular place for photos. This was done off the beaten path of the gardens, away from the crowds of people. We saw some beautiful fall foliage behind one of the buildings. There were vibrant red and orange leaves growing all around the stone porch. The porch was raised up, so Neal had Stacy and Pete go below us. They had to crouch down a bit so we could see them. We had them kiss at first and when they pulled away from each other they had huge smiles on their faces. We loved it! Neal and I love how the pillars and the leaves frame in Stacy and Pete perfectly!
